| Audi's flagship, the A8, has just
been redesigned with a few new upgrades. The biggest changes are
inside as the design is more of an evolution of the current A8.
Audi claims the A8 is now the sportiest car in the segment. I'm
sure that'll piss off a lot of
BMW and Mercedes fanboys, or in this segment, fanmen. |

| Audi's fascination with LED's
continues into the A8's new headlights. They look better than
before with added curves that make them more aggressive than
before. The signature upside-down trapezoidal grill is still
here of course until Audi finally decides to head into a new
direction. It's been revised with horizontal crossbars that look
better than the vertical ones from the old one. It makes me
wonder why they didn't just do that in the first place. |

| The LED head lamps can look sad yet
angry from this angle. They still look much improved over the
old ones with an overall sleeker front design. |
| The profiles are nearly identical
with a similar silhouette and window shapes. The noticeable
differences include a sharper creased beltline and no door
protector. The 1990s Lincoln style rear side windows are still
there. |
| The rear seems to fall shorter than
the old one due to the revised rear design. The trunk no longer
bubbles out like the 2010 model and features a creased top for
more visual appeal. |
| The rear is the most improved area
with a shallower rear end and more interesting design compared
to the bland 2010 version. The tail lights and license plate
housing are now longer giving it a lower and wider look. The
tail pipes have reverted back to good old circular ones. |

| The new interior has the same
layout as the previous version with upgraded materials and
features. The gauges are more modern and a larger information
screen is added that still pops out from the dashboard. A new
MMI interface is featured that will include a touchpad and
handwriting recognition. |
