Set to arrive late next year is the all-new Kia Cadenza which will replace the ill-received Kia Amanti. It'll be based on the same architecture as the well-received Hyundai Genesis. Kia is on a roll with their current release of new cars such as the Kia Forte. Judging by how well the Genesis has done and the Cadenza's stylish looks, Kia might have another winner.
2011 Kia Cadenza vs 2010 Hyundai Genesis
There's some similarities in the front-end enough differentiation to make it look different. The headlights, grille, and hood all have similar design features and shapes but with obvious changes. The headlights curve downward rather than upward like the Genesis and the waterfall grille is replaced with Kia's new grille design seen on other models. The bumper also receives more assertive styling. Is it possible that Kia's new design outshines Hyundai's?
Hopefully the headlight design will be untouched when it makes it to production with the provocative white inset. The side is tweaked a bit more with a sculpted crease on the side and a new side window profile. The rear passenger window flows inward a little at the C-pillar and overall appears to be shorter in height.
The Cadenza's taillights have a similar look to Audi's like the A4, which makes sense considering Kia's new chief designer is from Audi. The tail pipes are integrated into the rear bumper which looks great but the rest of the rear design isn't as eye-catching as the front.
The Cadenza gets a similar layout but revised heavily. The center screen sits in-between the vents the same way the Genesis does but the center stack is completely revised. The Genesis looks more traditional while the Cadenza looks more modern.

NOTES
Any chance we'll see a Cadenza coupe like the Genesis coupe? I'd say the chances are 1 in a 1,000,000. One can always hope though.
