At long last, the Camaro has finally
made it back onto the scene after a long hiatus. Many of you
probably saw it a long time ago in the 2007
Transformer movie but its only made it to production now. I
guess late is better than never.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS is shown.

A face that now seems so familiar after the concept debuted as
Bumblebee all the way back in 2007. The styling is mean and
aggressive, definitely the "don't eff with me" style. Although
it looks fresh today, the Mustang was redesigned with the retro
look in 2005.

|
2010 Ford Mustang GT is shown.

The new mustang looks similar to the last generation but the
subtle differences go a long way. The retro look is still there
but sleeker and modernized. |
|
|

The aggressive look continues from front to back with the large
flat hood and the large rear fenders. Only the SS version
includes the hood that is pictured. |
|

The Mustang GT adds the fog lights and a new bumper compared to
the V6 model. It helps the look recalling the old Shelbys of the
1960s. |

The Camaro's similiarity to the original isn't as obvious as the
Mustang,
which can be a good thing. The Camaro looks more like a car
styled after the classic 1967 Camaro than merely a remake of it. |
|

The profile looks nice except for the rear side windows. It
looks like they just drew them in last second. There is an
accessory that puts louvers over them which look great but
hinder visibility. |
|
|

Strong lines continue all the way to the back. I know it's
suppose to be retro but it looks like they could've done without
the slits on the rear fender. The character lines really give it
a unique look unlike any other car on the road today. |
|

The taillights are a new design with the backup lights in
between the brake lights. The taillights actually light up one
at a time on each side as a turn signal. It's actually quite
interesting to watch. |
|
|

This is where retro styling should sometimes stop, or at least
not go so far. The Camaro interior recalls the original but does
it really need to go this far? The speedometer and tachometer
look like Wall-E and the
four gauges by the shifter don't help
either. |
|

The Mustang interior on the other hand, looks amazing. The
symmetrical design is still there from the original but updated
to where it looks tasteful in the 2000s, not just the 1960s like
the Camaro. |
Note: The Mustang comes in numerous trims with the V6 model
having a different front fascia and no fog lamps. A Shelby
version is also available that also has a different front
fascia. |
