Toyota is trying to play catch-up
in the truck segment to the
Ford F-150, Dodge Ram, and Chevy
Silverado.

| The Tundra was restyled to look more aggressive than the
previous generation and almost takes some styling cues from the
Dodge Ram with its trapezoidal grill. The Silverado takes a
shape more similar to the Ford F-150 with rectangular shapes.
The Tundra has a little more going for it as the Silverado can
look rather plain. Its neither soft nor aggressive but just very
rectangular. |

 |
| The rectangular shape of the
Silverado can be seen from all angles and has a very wide and
flat front end. The Tundra incorporates a more rounded front end
that gives it a more aerodynamic look. |

|
 |
| The biggest flaw on the Tundra can
be found in the taillights. Toyota tried to give it a different
look but the lights don't look right for a truck. The Silverado
with large fender flares and a more traditional taillight
design matches better for its overall design than the Tundra's
rear does for its design cues. |
